Leo came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Garrett Railroaders with a sharp 15-6 win. Considering the Lions have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Brady Sharp, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was Ethan Wudy, who went 1-for-2 with four runs and one stolen base.

Leo hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garrett struck out seven times.

Leo's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Garrett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Leo will take on Huntington North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Garrett, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fremont at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
