They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 win over the Claremore Christian Warriors. 46 seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Malachi Zehder and Grant Schulze certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Zehder picked up 245 receiving yards and six touchdowns, while Schulze threw for 281 yards and six touchdowns. What's more, Schulze also racked up 78 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September.
The win made it two in a row for Faith Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for Claremore Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.
