Basketball Recap: Darrington Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lake Quinault last Friday, Darrington came back down to earth. The Darrington Loggers had to suffer through a 76-40 loss at the hands of the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes. The Loggers have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Darrington's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5. As for Mount Vernon Christian, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Darrington will venture away from home to take on Concrete at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they will face off against Friday Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
