While Marquette's win against Menominee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sentinels skirted past the Maroons 5-4. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Aidan Mason looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Evan Brown, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Marquette's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Menominee, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Marquette and Menominee will both be playing Gladstone the next time they take the field. The Maroons will host the Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Sentinels will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
