Basketball Game Preview: Bruce Trojans vs. Okolona Chieftains

Bruce hasn't had much luck against Okolona recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bruce Trojans will welcome the Okolona Chieftains at 7:30 p.m.

Bruce will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Okolona, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Bruce pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over Okolona on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Okolona is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Bruce, their victory bumped their record up to 2-12.
