Burns is 7-0 against Cherryville since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Burns Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Cherryville Ironmen at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Burns came up short against Crest and fell 52-45. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Cherryville ended up a good deal behind Bessemer City on Friday and lost 54-37.

Cherryville has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Burns, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Everything came up roses for Burns against Cherryville when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 75-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burns since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
