Baseball Recap: Analy's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Analy can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They never let the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Cooper Schulz looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Analy got a massive performance out of Hunter Thomas, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave Thomas a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Emerson Johnston, who scored four runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Analy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Analy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for St. Vincent de Paul, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Analy Tigers face off against Windsor Jaguars at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Vincent de Paul, they will welcome University at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
