Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Burlington Elks

The Buffalo Bison will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Burlington Elks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Buffalo is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They were just a bucket shy of victory last Friday and fell 36-35 to Beaver. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Burlington lost 67-41 to Lomega last Friday. The Elks have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Buffalo was able to grind out a solid win over Burlington in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 46-36. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Elks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
