SouthWest Edgecombe waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They breezed by the North Pitt Panthers to the tune of 67-31. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 27 points or more this season.

SouthWest Edgecombe's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zy Thigpen, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Thigpen a new career-high in rebounds. Justin Bridgers was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 boards.
