Southwestern came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Potosi/Cassville as they made off with a 68-46 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Potosi/Cassville are ranked 287th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Potosi/Cassville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-4.
