Softball Recap: Elsinore Comes Up Short

Elsinore might've scored the first runs on Saturday, but it was Warren who claimed the real prize. Elsinore took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warren. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly five runs.

Payton LaRouche was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Haylie Box, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Elsinore now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Warren, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Elsinore has already played their next game, an 11-6 victory against Valencia on the 29th. As for Warren, they will welcome Norwalk at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
