Basketball Recap: Collaborative Studies Comes Up Short

If Collaborative Studies was feeling good fresh off their 86-38 takedown of Brooklyn Studio last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Collaborative Studies were outmatched by the Summit Academy Eagles and fell 101-41. While losing is never fun, Collaborative Studies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 678th, while Summit Academy is ranked 174th).

Summit Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cincere Tucker out in front who posted 24 points and eight rebounds. The contest was Tucker's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Dimarco Dixon, who had 25 points along with seven boards and three blocks.

Collaborative Studies' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Summit Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Collaborative Studies nor Summit Academy have any future games scheduled.
