Basketball Recap: Adrian's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Adrian had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 51-46 win over the Grant Union Prospectors on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Antelopes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Adrian back to even at 3-3. As for Grant Union, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Adrian and Prairie City/Burnt River will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Prairie City/Burnt River will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Adrian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grant Union, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Burns at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
