Basketball Recap: First Coast Comes Up Short

First Coast lost against Riverside back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buccaneers fell 58-54 to the Generals.

First Coast has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Riverside, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8.

First Coast will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against Andrew Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Potter's House Christian Blue at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Generals will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
