The Ocean Lakes Dolphins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kempsville. Ocean Lakes has not had much luck with Kempsville recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Ocean Lakes' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jasymn Miller, who scored 21 points, and Samara Williams who scored eight points along with 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season.
Ocean Lakes has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Kempsville, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Ocean Lakes will be playing at home against Cox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kempsville, they will head out on the road to challenge Princess Anne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
