Allendale and Holland Christian are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Allendale Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Holland Christian Maroons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Allendale didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lowell, but they still walked away with a 37-33 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Holland Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Hawkeyes by a score of 41-29. Given the Maroons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Hawkeyes are ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Allendale, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Allendale might still be hurting after the 65-39 defeat they got from Holland Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Allendale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
