Softball Recap: Washington Blue Lions vs. Westfall Mustangs

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 20-1 to the Westfall Mustangs.

Addison Knisley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with a home run.

On Westfall's side, Adrina Hicks made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Hicks has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Hicks was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Westfall got a massive performance out of Logan McNeal, who went 4-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and a double. Jill Butcher was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4.
