Basketball Game Preview: Underwood Eagles vs. AHSTW Vikings

Underwood is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the AHSTW Vikings at 6:00 p.m.

Underwood is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost to Shenandoah on the road by a 67-50 margin on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ainsley Roberts, who went 7-for-14 on her way to 18 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Remi Paulson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, AHSTW posted their closest win since January 17th last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out CAM 48-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Underwood couldn't quite finish off AHSTW in their previous meeting back in January and fell 33-30. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
