Basketball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 66-42 to the Minden Crimson Tide. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Crimson Tide are ranked 64th).

Northwood has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-21 record this season. As for Minden, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Northwood will host Loyola College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Minden, they will take on Southwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
