Volleyball Recap: Mcmullen County Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

McMullen County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws by a score of 3-2. The Cowboys have struggled against the Indians/Squaws recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, McMullen County sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 24-26, 25-16, 22-25, 16-14.

Looking ahead, McMullen County will take on Annapolis Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jourdanton, they will head out on the road to take on Stockdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
