Baseball Recap: Brito Comes Up Short

Brito was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunset Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

Raivon Pinder made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Brito's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Sunset, they moved to 7-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Brito didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against Hialeah Educational Academy on the 3rd. As for Sunset, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-4 win against Coral Reef on the 3rd.
