Soccer Recap: South Point Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, South Point was not quite Chesapeake's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that South Point have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for South Point and nudges their season record down to 5-8-1. As for Chesapeake, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1-3.

Coming up, South Point will square off against Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chesapeake, they have already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Gallia Academy on the 7th.
