Recap: Pace Academy Knights vs. Luella Lions
If the Pace Academy Knights were riding high off their 68-15 takedown of the Lovett Lions last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Pace Academy fell 48-39 to Luella on Tuesday. Pace Academy has not had much luck with Luella recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Pace Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Xian Williams, who scored eight points along with two blocks, and Ryan Wrigley who scored ten points along with four steals. Wrigley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Pace Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6. As for Luella, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Pace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Luella also has no future games currently scheduled.
