Soccer Recap: King's Way Christian Comes Up Short

If King's Way Christian was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Onalaska on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell just short of the Fort Vancouver Trappers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. It was the first time this season that King's Way Christian let down their fans at home.

Their goal came courtesy of Rylan Richter, who's now up to seven this season.

King's Way Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-3-2. As for Fort Vancouver, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

King's Way Christian didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 defeat against Columbia on the 6th. As for Fort Vancouver, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 7-1 win against Stevenson on the 6th.
