Oak Ridge waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Affton Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Kaelyn Deckerd paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up eight kills. Deckerd got some help from Kenadie Ward and her 12 assists. Ward was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Oak Ridge's win bumped their record up to 20-5-1. As for Affton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-11-1 record.

Oak Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lutheran North on the 11th. As for Affton, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hazelwood West on the 11th.
