Baseball Recap: Tulsa NOAH Homeschool Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Varsity Opponent, Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wyandotte Bears a 6-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Jaguars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Call, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Ethan Arant was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wyandotte, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.

Looking ahead, Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Dewey at 5:00 p.m. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldoggers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Wyandotte, they will head out on the road to challenge Quapaw on Thursday.
