Softball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Independence was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 8-1 to the Colbert County Indians.

Independence saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Maxon, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Colbert County, they now have a winning record of 14-13-1.

Independence has already played their next contest (against West Limestone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Colbert County, they have also already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Giles County on the 18th.
