Basketball Recap: Wynford Extends Road Winning Streak to Eight

After losing to Upper Sandusky the last time they met, Wynford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wynford Royals snuck past the Upper Sandusky Rams with a 44-38 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Wynford's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Upper Sandusky, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wynford will venture away from home to challenge Carey at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Upper Sandusky, they will head out on the road to face off against Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seneca East will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Upper Sandusky surely won't give up without a fight.
