Basketball Recap: Pendleton Takes a Loss

Pendleton won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Burns Hilanders, falling 46-18. While losing is never fun, the Buckaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Hilanders are ranked 24th).

Pendleton got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Khimora Scott and Presley Greenwalt, who each put up five points.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Burns, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton will host North Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Burns, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lowry at 3:00 p.m.
