Football Recap: Norton Comes Up Short

If Norton was riding high fresh off their 50-14 takedown of Oakmont Regional last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers took a 34-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Bridgewater Vikings on Friday. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Norton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Bridgewater, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norton will challenge Pembroke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Bridgewater, they will take on Nauset Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
