Football Recap: Trimble Comes Up Short

Trimble fell victim to Waterford and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Tomcats in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Hayden Jones had an outrageously good game for Waterford as he rushed for 121 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Jones a new career-high.

Trimble's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Waterford, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Trimble will head out to challenge Federal Hocking at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
