The Norwalk Lancers will take on the Warren Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Norwalk will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Firebaugh on Tuesday. The Lancers put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 19-5 victory.

Jezrael Acosta was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Celeste Olide, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Norwalk always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Firebaugh only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, while Warren put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Dominguez. The Bears blew past the Dons 16-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their one-run performance the contest before.
The team relied heavily on Sophia Munguia, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with six runs. Bella Gonzalez was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBI.
Warren pushed their record up to 14-12 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Norwalk, the win got them back to even at 11-11-1.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Norwalk has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .477. However, it's not like Warren struggles in that department as they've averaged .509. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
