Basketball Game Preview: Stoneman Douglas Eagles vs. Miami Beach Hi-Tides

The Stoneman Douglas Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Miami Beach Hi-Tides at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stoneman Douglas knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Miami Beach likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Stoneman Douglas came up short against Plantation and fell 72-60.

Meanwhile, Miami Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Doral Academy and fell 61-30.

Miami Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Stoneman Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Stoneman Douglas didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Miami Beach in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win.
