Volleyball Recap: Lynn Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

Lynn Vo-Tech suffered their biggest defeat since April 5th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons. The Tigers have struggled against the Gryphons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Lynn Vo-Tech took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 29-27.

Lynn Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Greater Lowell Tech, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn Vo-Tech will challenge Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Witches at the right time seeing as the Witches are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Greater Lowell Tech, they will take on KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
