MacArthur is 8-2 against Irving since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cardinals will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. MacArthur is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

MacArthur made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pearce, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cardinals fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 30-28 on Friday.

Despite the loss, MacArthur got top-tier performance from Banner Nitcholas, who rushed for 66 yards and four TDs.

MacArthur didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rolando King and Derrick Washington.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Irving's offense. They took a blow against Berkner on Thursday, falling 37-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-6.

Everything came up roses for MacArthur against Irving in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 39-7 win. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
