Football Game Preview: Ballard Beavers vs. Eastside Catholic Crusaders + How To Watch

Ballard is 1-6 against Eastside Catholic since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Beavers will face off against the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Ballard had taken Roosevelt down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Beavers took a 10-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roughriders.

Meanwhile, Eastside Catholic faced O'Dea in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Crusaders fell 24-20 to the Fighting Irish. The Crusaders have struggled against the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Ballard now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eastside Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Ballard was taken down by Eastside Catholic 41-7 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Beavers were down 34-0.
