Custer is 8-2 against Douglas since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Custer Wildcats will take on the Douglas Patriots at 6:30 p.m.

Custer will head into Saturday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They took a blow against St. Thomas More, falling 58-24. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglas). They enjoyed a cozy 59-41 win over Lead-Deadwood on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their 17-point performance the game before.

Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Custer, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Custer beat Douglas 49-36 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Custer since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
