Volleyball Recap: Make It 15 in a Row for Mars Hill Academy

Mars Hill Academy strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Royalmont Academy Classical Prep Cristeros as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mars Hill Academy was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-6, 25-6.

Mars Hill Academy found their leader in sophomore Adelaide Solomon, who had 14 assists and nine aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Minnick, who had five aces and three digs.

Mars Hill Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 32 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Mars Hill Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Royalmont Academy Classical Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Mars Hill Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 11th. As for Royalmont Academy Classical Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on CHESS Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
