Basketball Recap: Anderson HomeSchool Gets the Win

Anderson HomeSchool posted their closest win since November 14, 2023 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 victory over the Suburban Christian Crusaders.

Despite the loss, Suburban Christian had strong showings from Chad Glover, who posted 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Luke Carter, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Glover has been hot, having posted four or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Ellis, who earned eight points and five steals.

Anderson HomeSchool now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Suburban Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Anderson HomeSchool will challenge Kosciusko County HomeSchool at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Suburban Christian, they will take on Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Suburban Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
