Baseball Recap: Syracuse Takes a Loss

Syracuse managed to slip by Spanish Fork the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Syracuse Titans came up short against the Spanish Fork Dons on Saturday, falling 9-1. The loss leaves the Titans still looking for their first win of the season.

Syracuse saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Spanish Fork, the win snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Syracuse will challenge West Field at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spanish Fork, they will head out to challenge Riverton at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
