Baseball Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Ripley fell victim to Westview and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Chargers. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ripley's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Westview, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

While Ripley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
