Nash Randall put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

Randall's strong effort led Blackfoot over Hillcrest and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos are 8-1 against the Knights going back to April of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
