Basketball Game Preview: North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights vs. Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors

Two dominant guards in Khloe Moye and Alaina Griffin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights will be playing at home against the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Raleigh Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 64-59 W over Louisburg back in December of 2024. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

North Raleigh Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Moye, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards, and Keaton Rikard, who posted 19 points in addition to five assists and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Moye has scored at least a third of North Raleigh Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Ray, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, Metrolina Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past the Lions with points to spare, taking the game 49-31.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Everything came up roses for North Raleigh Christian Academy against Metrolina Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 71-34 victory.
