Softball Recap: George Ranch Find Success

George Ranch picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Victoria West Warriors by a score of 9-6.

Hannah Ramirez looked comfortable as she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Sarah Wendler was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylie Wacker, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

George Ranch's win bumped their record up to 4-8-3. As for Victoria West, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, George Ranch will square off against Steele at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Victoria West, they will challenge Needville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Victoria West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
