Football Recap: Crenshaw Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Crenshaw challenged Franklin on Thursday. The Cougars took a 19-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nevaeh Bell threw for 107 yards and one TD. Za'Karia Wade was her top target, picking up 58 receiving yards.

Crenshaw now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Franklin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5-1 record this season.

Crenshaw has already played their next contest (against Jordan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Franklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Ramona on the 13th.
