Baseball Game Preview: Klein Forest Eagles vs. Magnolia Bulldogs

The Klein Forest Eagles will take on the Magnolia Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Klein Forest has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 7th.

Klein Forest came up short against Tomball Memorial on Friday, falling 8-2.

Erick Garcia was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Klein Forest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kai Juarez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Juarez has posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, Magnolia suffered their closest defeat since May 9, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Klein Cain by a score of 6-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Klein Forest's loss dropped their record down to 3-16-1. As for Magnolia, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1.
