Baseball Recap: Orange Grove Finds Playoff Glory Versus Taft

Orange Grove extended their postseason success on Friday against Taft. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Greyhounds. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Orange Grove got a massive performance out of Linden Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Hughes Klatt was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Orange Grove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Taft only posted an OBP of .208.

Orange Grove's win bumped their record up to 15-10-1. As for Taft, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13-1.

Orange Grove will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Greyhounds: the pair will be back at it again later today.
