Basketball Recap: Eupora Comes Up Short

Leflore County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emoni Journey led the charge by going 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Keveon Cross, who went 6-for-7 on his way to 17 points.

Eupora's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Leflore County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.
