Basketball Recap: West Elk Patriots vs. Oxford Wildcats
West Elk lost against Oxford back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Elk Patriots fell just short of the Oxford Wildcats by a score of 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered since January 3rd.

West Elk is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9. As for Oxford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.
West Elk has already played their next contest, a 72-44 victory against Sedan on the 17th. As for Oxford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 90-26 win against Bluestem on the 17th.
