Baseball Recap: Constitution Has No Trouble Against George Washington

Constitution won the last time they faced George Washington and things went their way on Thursday too. Constitution blew past George Washington 15-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Generals.

Jayden Gordy was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Jackson Kardon was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Constitution's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for George Washington, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Constitution will head out to face off against Science Leadership Academy at Beeber at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for George Washington, they will host Prep Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be George Washington's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
